- Boca Juniors is coming into this match not playing in the best form recently with 2 losses in their last 3 matches and no wins in that span either. They are not a bad team though as they are one of the better teams in Argentina, they have lost their last 2 matches at home as well but both of those matches were before an important Libertadores match for them, one loss coming before the 1st leg and the other in their last match right before this 2nd leg. They were likely not focused as much on those matches as this is the desired competition for them to win and they played very well in the 1st leg against Corinthians. They have been a great team at home and they are going up against a Corinthians side that has not been in good form recently. Corinthians was likely focusing on this competition as well so their last few league matches have been slip ups but they have also had a problem scoring goals recently and that problem is going to pop up here for sure.
