If the season were to end today, the Rangers would be outside looking in at the playoffs with 74 points -- one behind the final Wild Card spot in the East. The only good news right now after beginning this road trip with a 3-1 loss to the Kings is that they finish up this western swing with two of the worst teams in the Conference -- Anaheim (tonight) and San Jose (tomorrow). The Ducks are headed for a seventh straight losing campaign and another season of no playoffs as they currently sit 13 points behind the final wild card in the West. The Rangers have won seven of the last eight meetings with the Ducks going back to December of 2019, including two of the last three here at Honda Center. Opposing teams are scoring at a rate of 3.11 goals per game here in Anaheim this season, and that's tied for the third-highest number in the Western Conference. Take the Rangers.
