Analysis
The Leafs are coming into this game with a 3-0 series lead and they have been the dominant team in these 3 games. They won the 1st game 6-2 in a dominant performance and followed up with 2 straight 3-2 wins in overtime, but they continue to find ways to win these games. The last 2 games have been much closer in score as they both went to overtime, but the Leafs have not really been trailing in this series. They never trailed in the 1st game as they came out strong and went on to win 6-2. They did not trail in the 2nd game either as they took a 2-0 lead before allowing the Senators back in the game, but they still got the job done quickly in OT. Now they are coming off of a game which they did trail 1-0, but it was not for very long as they tied it 1-1 a few mins later and then even took a 2-1 lead to start the 3rd period. This Leafs team does not quit and it is going to be very tough for the Sens to win this game when they have not even been able to get a lead let alone hold it against the Leafs. They have also struggled to score goals in these games as they have scored 2 goals in each. Stolarz has been a big reason for success as he has been playing great in this series, and this great performance goes back to the regular season as the Leafs were not giving up many goals to end the season. The Senators may have won all 3 meetings against the Leafs during the regular season, but the playoffs are a completely different animal and the Senators do not have the playoff experience to lean on like the Leafs do. The Leafs are going to get up for this game and jump at the opportunity to sweep the Sens and get some extra rest for a much tougher opponent in the next round. The Leafs will win this game.
