Analysis
The Lightning are coming into this game down 2-0 in the series and they have been awful in these 2 games. They were playing much better than the Panthers were to end the season, but the Lightning have folded when it mattered most. They lost the first 2 games of this series at home and they were never in either of those games. They lost the 1st game 6-2 and fell behind right away in that game, never making it close. Then they followed up with a 2-0 loss in a game that they played much better in, but they still fell behind very early in that game, going down 1-0 in the first 10 mins, and they had to play that whole game trailing. Their offense was a big reason for that loss as they could not find the net on a hot Bobrovsky and they have only scored 2 goals in the 2 games of this series. The Lightning are struggling to score goals right now and that will be a huge problem if they cannot solve this hot Bobrovsky in net for the Panthers as the Panthers have been very efficient in these 2 games. They scored 6 goals on 16 shots in the 1st game, but they were much better in game 2 as they actually outshot the Lightning in game 2, and they are only going to be more dominant in this game now that they are going back home with a 2-0 lead. The Lightning have also been much better at home this season so they blew their chance to get a win in the venue where they have been much stronger all season, now they have to go on the road against a hated rival who has dominated them in both games of this series and is also the defending Stanley Cup champions so the pressure is building for this Lightning team. The Panthers will win this game at home.
