Analysis: The Rockets are coming into this game with the series tied 1-1 and they played much better in the last game. They are coming off of a 109-94 win in game 2, but a lot of that was fueled by the fact that Jimmy Butler left that game early. The Warriors did not need to expend too much energy to win that game either since they had already taken the 1st game with a 95-85 win and they now have the home advantage in the series. Butler should be back for the Warriors in this game and that will be a big boost for the Warriors as he makes this team very difficult to defend. The Rockets have been one of the better defensive teams in the league this season and defense will be their key to winning this game, but Butler adds an element that makes the Warriors tough to defend as they can shoot the ball very well and have a good inside presence with Butler in the game. Butler is also a key piece on defense for the Warriors so he will help shut down this Rockets offense that is not very efficient and does not shoot the ball nearly as well either. The Rockets won game 2 with the help of the Jimmy Butler injury, but they were also the hungrier team after dropping the 1st game at home. Now the Warriors have set themselves up in a great position to try and take a 3-1 series lead at home in these next 2 games so they are going to get up for this game and will have an answer to that 15 point loss.
