While the Padres lost 1-0 last night, I believe that a rebound performance is in store for Saturday evening. San Diego still leads the NL West and have put on quite the show to begin the season so far. Even with Arraez still out, San Diego's lineup is scary for anyone to go up against, especially a pitcher like Pepiot who's struggled to start 2025. Pepiot has given up 12 runs over his past three outings.
Looking at Cease, he's also been quite poor this season ytd. Having said that, he's off one of his strongest starts of the season and I believe that he's about to go on a bit of a roll. San Diego has by far the stronger lineup. Expect San Diego to win this game at home on Saturday evening.
