Having lost five consecutive games, I believe that it's time for the Phillies to finally break out of the slump. Overall, I believe that this Philadelphia team has one of the best chances in the entire league to get past LAD & win the World Series. The Phillies should have great pitching down the stretch and their lineup is one of the best. Having said that, this is a team that shouldn't be going on too many losing streaks like this. They are too good.
Despite his winning record, Ben Brown hasn't been particularly great this season. His ERA is quite high and he's allowing a ton of baserunners. I mean his 1.75 WHIP goes to show. I believe that the Phillies will be able to take advantage of that and should be ready to go this afternoon. Expect a Philadelphia win here today.
