His road performance continues to impress with a strong 31-17 record and a 2.94 ERA despite current challenges. Corbin Burnes holds a 2-5 record against the Cubs but maintains a respectable 3.36 ERA through his encounters with them. Colin Rea earned praise in his second start of the season by maintaining a 1.00 ERA. During his last outing he gave up only one run across 3.2 innings against the Dodgers by using his entire six-pitch arsenal. Corbin Carroll leads the Diamondbacks offense with a 10-game hitting streak and six home runs this season. Josh Naylor maintains a batting average of .324 while Pavin Smith hits .404 in their productive offensive contributions. Kyle Tucker has five home runs and 19 RBIs while Carson Kelly leads with a .407 average and four home runs to drive the Cubs’ offense. Getting the Cubs as a home dog too much to pass on here.
