The Capitals are the only team in the Eastern Conference that's qualified for the playoffs so far and I expect them to keep extending their lead in the Metro Division. Let's not forget that Ovechkin is also still trying to chase down "The Great One" in goals. Six goals in 10 games? That's very doable. On the other hand, Minnesota is starting to really feel the pressure without its superstar player in Karill Kaprizov. He's still not available to the team and I believe that the Wild are going to need him if they are going to want to make any noise in the upcoming playoffs. Yes, I still think Minny will sneak in the postseason. But, not at full strength, it's hard to see them competing with the league's best, especially Washington here today.
