My 8* ROUND-TRIPPER is on the New York Yankees at 3:05 EST. The Yanks blew a five-run advantage in Game 5 of the World Series, and now much pick themselves up and dust themselves off to open up the 2025 campaign. The Brewers on the other hand blew a two-run led in the ninth in their Game 3 Wild-card loss to the Mets last year. Carlos Rodon gets the start for the Yanks, who conceded two runs or less 20 times last year, including against the Brewers on April 27th when he allowed one run off two hits over six innings (in four career starts against Milwaukee the south-paw is 1-1 with a 2.65 ERA.) Freddy Peralta counters for the visitors after going 11-9 with a 3.68 ERA last year. Peralta faces New York for the first time in his career, which I'm unsure is a good or bad thing. One thing I am definitely sure about though is Rodon's dominance in this matchup. All things considered, I feel a really good price on the home side. Lay it, because the Yankees roll on Opening Day!
