Yesterday’s Results for New York Mets vs Milwaukee Brewers

Analysis: New York Mets (Moneyline) .. While it's been a long season for the Mets with ups and downs, I believe that they have one final push left in them. New York will send out Jose Quintana (10-10, 3.75 ERA, 135 SO) for this game and he finished the year off as hot as anybody. In fact, Quintana gave up just a trio of earned runs in his last 36.1 innings of work (six outings.) That's absurd. While the Mets lost yesterday's game for this series to go three games, they still looked solid as they led going into the eight. On the other hand, Tobias Myers (9-6, 3.00 ERA, 127 SO) will make his first career MLB postseason start. Don't get me wrong, the rookie was phenomenal this season and deserves this nod. However, I expect the nerves to get to him a bit here tonight. The Mets have experienced hitters while the Brewers are more of a "pitching" ball club. If Myers doesn't perform, I love the Mets' chances. Look for the underdog to take advantage of a young rookie pitcher here in Game 3 and roll through to the next round against Philadelphia. Score Prediction: 4-2 Mets.
