Commanders vs Bengals Prediction

The current betting odds have the Commanders listed as a 7.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Commanders have a 1-1 record this season but they haven't looked bad in their 2 games. They opened the season with a bad loss to the Bucs, losing 37-20, but the offense looked good and they played a lot better in their last one. They are coming off their 1st win of the season, beating the Giants at home 21-18. Meanwhile, the Bengals haven't looked good in their games this season with their 0-2 record overall. They are coming off a tough road loss to the Chiefs in their last one, only losing that game by 1 point, but they had many opportunities to win it and couldn't do it. They also lost their season opener at home to the Patriots who aren't a strong team offensively. The Commanders don't have a great defense, but they did show some improvements last week. They do have a better offense with Jayden Daniels though and they will be able to keep up with the Bengals offense which hasn't looked great in their 2 games. The Bengals did play against 2 better defenses, but scoring 10 points at home is not a good look considering the talent they have on this team. They were a lot better last week but they are still struggling to find their rhythm on the field and the Commanders can take advantage of that to keep this game a closer one. The best way to place a bet here is on the Commanders to cover the spread in this game.

Commanders Bengals Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Monday, September 23, 2024 (8:15 pm ET start time) is Bengals 24 Commanders 20.
