Three of the 12 underdogs got it done in MLB on Sunday, four games a pick. Last night's Big Dawg that barked loudest once again was the Detroit Tigers (+170 Caesars), winning on the road against the Minnesota Twins, 6-4.

In the four-game series against the Twins, the Tigers won three games behind an offensive surge that saw them hit .265 and average 5.2 runs per game. They also had 16 extra-base hits, nearly 50% of their hits, and cranked five home runs. Now the Tigers return to Detroit for a six-game homestand, beginning tonight against the Kansas City Royals.

It was a day for favorites in the WNBA on Sunday, as we saw four of the five covers. The fifth was an interesting dynamic, as there 1s on both sides of the ledger.

Let's start there, as the Atlanta Dream caught +1.5 for much of the morning, and even closed a 1-point dog at DraftKings. But other properties closed the game a pick or Atlanta -1 against the Indiana Fever. The Dream were in control much of the game and won 100-94 in what might have been their most complete game.

The New York Liberty opened -12.5 against the Phoenix Mercury, but when news came out that Brittney Griner and Diana Taurasi weren't going to play, the number jumped as high as 15. No problem, as the Liberty won 89-71.

The Washington Mystics were an easy choice against a travel-weary Chicago Sky squad that could find itself in last place in the Eastern Conference if it can't get healthy. The Mystics covered the majority -4.5 with a 77-69 win.

The Connecticut Sun went into Los Angeles and beat up the beat-up Sparks and former coach Curt Miller, 83-74. The Sun laid -4 on the road and covered with ease.

In the nightcap, the Las Vegas Aces showed signs of sluggishness in the first quarter, and then boat raced the Minnesota Lynx to cover the -17.5 with a 93-62 win.
