Tulane vs Oklahoma Prediction

The current betting odds have Oklahoma listed as a 13 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Oklahoma is 2-0 overall this season but they didn't look great last week. They were really good in their season opener, but they struggled to beat Houston at home in their last game, and Houston looked terrible in their season opener against UNLV. Oklahoma had some big problems on offense in that game, only scoring 16 points in a 16-12 win, but their defense came to play as usual and that has been their strength since Venables got there. Oklahoma is getting another chance to tune things up at home before conference play starts and they are catching a break with this Tulane team. Tulane is 1-1 overall and they looked really good in their 2 games. They lost to Kansas State at home last week but were right in that game until the very end, leading for a lot of the game too. Tulane has been one of the best group of 5 teams in the country over the last few seasons, but they are in the 1st season of a new head coach and still trying to find their way. As good as they looked against Kansas State last week, now they are playing their 1st road game of the season and Oklahoma will be looking to bounce back with a much better game, even though they didn't lose. Oklahoma has a much better defense than what Tulane saw last week too so their offense isn't going to score as easily here on the road. The best way to place a bet here is on Oklahoma to cover the spread in this game.
