Blue Jays vs Yankees Prediction

The current betting odds have the Yankees listed as a favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Yankees have looked great in their games this season with their 65-45 record overall which has them in a tie for 1st place in the AL East with the Orioles. They haven't looked as good in their road games this year, but they have still been a good road team with their 27-23 road record. Meanwhile, the Blue Jays have looked terrible in their games this season with their 50-59 record overall which has them at the bottom of the AL East and well out of the playoff race. They haven't looked good in their road games either, going 24-31 in those. The Jays just traded away quite a few players at the trade deadline so this is not really a team that is making a playoff push. The Yankees haven't looked great in their games lately, but they are starting to get hot again as they are coming off a series sweep against the Phillies, sweeping one of the best teams in the MLB, and they are now 6-4 in their last 10 games too. The Yankees are going to continue to get hot now that their offense is putting up a ton of runs again. The Blue Jays are going to have Berrios on the mound here and he has looked good this season with his 9-8 record and his 3.93 ERA, but he won't keep this red hot Yankees offense off the board in this one. He only gave up 1 earned run in his last start, but that was against a much weaker Rangers offense, and the Blue Jays have still lost 2 of their last 3 games with Berrios starting. The Yankees are going with Rodon in this one and he is 11-7 with a 4.34 ERA this season. He had a really good start to the season as he was one of their best starters in the first few months. He went through a rough stretch recently, but now he has looked a lot better again in his starts lately. He only gave up 2 earned runs in his last start as he has been giving up less and less runs lately, and his team has been finding success with him once again, winning 2 games in a row now with him starting. The Yankees have finally broken out of their funk and they are going to be making a push to win the AL East since they are tied with the Orioles now. The Jays are at the bottom of the division right now having a terrible season and this is a series the Yankees can beat up on them in. The best way to place a bet here is on the Yankees to win this game.
