Texas vs Michigan Prediction

The current betting odds have Texas listed as a 7 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Texas had a great season last year as they made it to the college football playoff, but they fell short before the National Championship and will be looking to get back to that opportunity. They looked great in their season opener with a 52-0 win over Colorado State. Meanwhile, Michigan is coming off a season in which they won the National Championship, but this is a very different team now with half of their team from last season leaving for the NFL, including the head coach Jim Harbaugh. Moore was well involved in this team last season, but they still don't have the same talent as those teams that have been crushing the Big Ten over the last few years. Texas has been on the rise over the last few years as they have been building a really good team on both offense and defense, and last season they really made a name for themselves. They are returning a lot of key players from last season as well, including their starting QB, so they are going to come out hot in this game. Michigan has a lot of new starting players this season and even when they won the National Championship last season, their offense wasn't really a scoring machine. They still have a great defense but their offense won't be able to keep up with Texas, even being at home, and Texas will eventually pull away in this game where Michigan won't have a way back in. The best way to place a bet here is on Texas to cover the spread in this game.
