Titans vs Bears Prediction

The current betting odds have the Bears listed as a 4 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Bears finished last season with a 7-10 record overall, but things are going to be different this season with their new starting QB. They drafted Caleb Williams with the number 1 overall pick and they are ready to start a new era in Chicago. This was already a 7 win team last season while juggling 2 different quarterbacks, but now there will be more stability at the position with a Heisman Trophy winner, and they also improved the team a lot with their draft picks. Meanwhile, the Titans were 6-11 last season and they are also entering a new era. Will Levis will be taking over as the starting QB this season, but they also have a new head coach after letting Mike Vrabel go at the end of last year. The Titans were only 1-7 in their road games last season and even though they have some talent in their receiving corps, losing their running back Derrick Henry was also a big loss for them. Their defense wasn't great last season either since they have been trading away key defensive players over the last few years. The Titans still have some talent to work with but this is going to be a really difficult 1st game for their new head coach on the road, especially with all the hype surrounding this Bears team this season. Caleb Williams and the Bears will be looking to live up to the hype and exceed expectations in this 1st home game. The best way to place a bet here is on the Bears to cover the spread in this game.

Titans Bears Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, September 8, 2024 (1:00 pm ET start time) is Bears 27 Titans 17.

Notable Quotes

"You guys are probably familiar with looking at a duck underwater. I’m sure internally he’s incredibly excited, but he’s done a really good job of staying consistent and calm in his approach. I know Will well enough to know that he’s very excited to go play." - Brian Callahan on Will Levis coming into this new NFL season.

“That’s the thing about having core beliefs. When you have core beliefs, you stand on those. And when things are good, you got to make sure that they’re right. When you have adversity, those are things that you stand on to make sure things are right. And you always come back to those core beliefs. Those never change.” - Matt Eberflus on his mindset coming into this season.
