49ers vs Dolphins Prediction

The current betting odds have the Dolphins listed as a 1 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Dolphins haven't looked great in their games this season with their 6-8 record overall which has them in 2nd place of the AFC East, but that record still has them in the Wild Card race and fighting for a playoff spot. They are coming off a bad loss to the Texans last week, but the team has looked a lot better as a whole since Tua returned from his injury and they will be looking to bounce back on their home field where they have looked a lot better this year, going 4-3 in those games. Meanwhile, the 49ers haven't looked any better in their games this season with their 6-8 record overall which has them right at the bottom of the NFC West. They haven't been eliminated from playoff contention yet, but they have had a disaster of a season riddled with injuries and the Super Bowl loss still hanging over them. They are coming off a 12-6 loss to the Rams last week in a game that didn't even have a TD scored in it, but their offense looked terrible as they just couldn't get anything going. Their defense hasn't looked the same as last season either and that is going to be an issue with the talent that this Dolphins offense has. Both of these teams are 6-8 this season, but the Dolphins haven't looked that bad over the last few weeks while things just keep going wrong for the 49ers and with the strength of their division at the moment, their season feels like it was over after that loss to the Rams last week. The best way to place a bet here is on the Dolphins to cover the spread in this game.

49ers Dolphins Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, December 22, 2024 (4:25 pm ET start time) is Dolphins 28 49ers 24.
