Eagles vs Commanders Prediction

The current betting odds have the Eagles listed as a 3.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Eagles have looked really good in their games this season with their 12-2 record overall which leads the NFC East with one of the best records in the entire NFL. They have been rolling over teams lately, coming off a 27-13 win over the Steelers in their last one, and they have a ton of momentum on their side with 10 wins in a row now. They are also going to be really motivated after seeing the Lions lose a game since they are now tied with both the Lions and the Vikings for the number 1 seed in the NFC. Meanwhile, the Commanders have looked good in their games this season with their 9-5 record overall which has them in 2nd place of the NFC East and in a Wild Card spot at the moment. They have had a really good season even though they have a rookie QB and a new head coach/ownership group. They have exceeded expectations this season and look to be playoff bound now, but they are coming off a win over the Saints in a game they struggled to finish in and they just aren't at the level that the Eagles are playing at. The Commanders are coming off a 20-19 win over the Saints last week and were in complete control of that game, jumping out to a big lead, but they were outscored when the Saints made the switch from Jake Haener to Spencer Rattler, almost losing the game in a comeback for the Saints. They haven't looked great in their other games lately either and the Eagles will be able to take advantage of that as they are completely rolling in all areas right now. The best way to place a bet here is on the Eagles to cover the spread in this game.

Eagles Commanders Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, December 22, 2024 (1:00 pm ET start time) is Eagles 27 Commanders 16.
