The 76ers have won 4 of their last 5 games and are beginning to right the ship. In fact they won their last game against the red hot Golden State Warriors.  It’s still rough in Philly though with a missing max $$ player in Ben Simmons who is holding out to force a trade. However, 6th place and 5 games above .500 is a solid place to be.  Sixers star center Joel Embiid has missed some contests because of health and safety protocols and now is in and out of the lineup with sore ribs.  With all the turmoil to still be winners bodes well for the second half of the season… especially after the trade deadline when they will come to their senses and trade Ben Simmons for anything plus any picks.

The Memphis Grizzlies have won 5 of their last 6 games and are on a 2-game win streak.  Sure, they beat the Houston Rockets and everyone should… but the game before that they beat the Los Angeles Lakers while Memphis was missing star point guard Ja Morant and shooting guard Dillon Brooks. Ja will be out for a while too, he’s got knee trouble and you never rush an all-star back from knee trouble.  The injury report on game day will justify the pick (listed below) in this game.
