Oklahoma vs Navy Prediction

The current betting odds have Navy listed as a 5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Navy has looked really good in their games this season with their 9-3 record overall and their 7-2 conference record which has them right near the top of the AAC. They were close to making the AAC Championship with the season they had and Army went on to win the AAC Championship in their first season of being in the conference, but Navy is coming off a big win over Army after that conference championship game and that was really their whole season right there. They are going to have a ton of momentum after that big win and they are going to carry it into this game as they have a chance to finish the season with a bowl win and end with a 10-win season. Meanwhile, Oklahoma hasn't looked great in their games this season with their 6-6 record overall and their 2-6 conference record which has them right near the bottom of the SEC. This was their first season in the SEC too and it was nowhere near the season they wanted to have. Their defense has looked great in a lot of their games, but they have had to lean on that all too often with their offense looking terrible. They ended the regular season with a blowout loss to LSU and they have struggled to move the ball all year. Navy has had a great offense this season and they are tough to defend with the triple option so as good as Oklahoma has looked on defense this season, they will struggle in this game. Navy also has a good defense and Oklahoma doesn't really have the kind of offense to put up a ton of points on them here. Oklahoma's offense will keep Navy in this game with a chance to pull off the upset. The best way to place a bet here is on Navy to cover the spread in this game.

Oklahoma Navy Prediction:  Our NCAAF Pick for Friday, December 27, 2024 (12:00 pm ET start time) is Navy 21 Oklahoma 16.

“I think they're like us. We want to be significant. I think we both were this year, and I think because of that maybe there was a little more significance, a little more interest maybe in this game.” - Brian Newberry after his team’s win against Army in their last game.
