NBA Standings
Knicks: 24-31, 12th place Eastern Conference
Warriors: 41-13, 2nd place Western Conference
A non-conference NBA matchup between the very smalls in the Eastern Conference and the very bigs in the Western conference. A better way to put that is a perennial loser in the East vs a perennial winner in the West. Even when the Knicks have a good season, they get back to bad. Even when the Warriors have a bad season, they get back to the good. Knicks draft picks rarely work out…, Warriors draft picks, even the 2nd round ones, seem to be made of Gold. The game has some added intrigue as it will be just a few hours after the NBA trade deadline. The Knicks may be players at the trade deadline if they decide it is time to move on from their best player, Julius Randle. Julius committed the biggest sin you can in Madison Square Garden when he “thumbs downed” the booing home fans. Yo0u are not supposed to point out how the Knicks fans are entitled over nothing. They feel they should boo their team even if the players are young, even if the players are not the owner, and even if it is premature and Kristaps Porzingis turns out good or their team guts out a 4th quarter comeback after. You should never criticize a Knicks fan… because… well you know… they are special. Short bus special. The Warriors are only a player at the trade deadline if they decide to go nuclear for one more GREAT player. If the Warriors think the only way to get past the Suns and restart the dynasty is to move Poole, Kuminga, and Wiseman for a current all-star… like I dunno… Jokic?... Only then they will make a move. Otherwise the Warriors are something the Knicks are not… perfectly constructed.
The New York Knicks have only won 2 of their last 10 games. They have rocketed down the standings. The two teams they beat were the Los Angeles Clippers and the Sacramento Kings. There is literally no hope for the rest of the season. They only went 3-7 ATS over the last ten games… so when I tell you not to put money on them… Don’t.
The Golden State Warriors have won 9 games in a row! They have won 9 of their last ten. They are on a full blown streak. It’s not quite the type of winning streak that the Suns go on… but it’s close. The Warriors are no secret. The feature star PG Stephen Curry 25.7 ppg, alongside star SG Klay Thompson 16.7 ppg (in a low season, after missing two years), and star PF Draymond Green 7.9 ppg, 7.6 rpg, and 7.4 apg. All three have 3 rings… all three will be in the Hall of Fame when it is all said and done… and all three are backed by an amazing supporting cast… which is why I said they could reasonably enter the trade market before Thursday at noon and come away with an all-star if they decided to fight the Suns fire with gasoline.

New York Knicks vs Golden State Warriors Prediction
Our prediction for Thursday, February 10th is…. Warriors 121 - Knicks 108
The Warriors will roll the Knicks. The Knicks are bad on the road… the Warriors are good at home. The shooting AND defensive numbers favor the KNicks… plus the Knicks are in a perpetual crisis of this, that or the other. This is Tom Thibodeau’s third losing team in a row. At some point someone will have to ask him if he will ever make adjustments to his style?
