The Jaguars are entering this game with a 1-5 record overall and they have a 1-1 record in their divisional games too. Patriots vs Jaguars Prediction

The current betting odds have the Jaguars listed as a 5.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Jaguars have looked terrible in their games this season with their 1-5 record overall. This is going to be their 2nd week in a row playing in England, but they are coming off another loss in their last one. They were blown out by the Bears in that game, but the Bears have taken some big steps over the last few weeks and are improving each week. The Jags are going to be desperate for a get right game and this is a great situation for them against another struggling team. Meanwhile, the Patriots have looked terrible in their games this season with their 1-5 record overall. They finally made the switch to Drake Maye last week and the offense looked a lot better, putting up 21 points against the Texans, but that game was also at home and they put up so many points because the defense also gave up 41. Nothing is going right for the Patriots at the moment and they are still trying to figure things out with their rookie head coach too. Now they have to travel to England for this game and they are getting a desperate Jaguars team that has already been there for over a week. The Jags already have a big travel advantage here, but they also have a lot more talent on their team and this is a must win game for them, no excuses. The best way to place a bet here is on the Jaguars to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

“I thought he showed a lot of poise. I thought he went out there and controlled the huddle, got those guys out of the huddle and once again, made some plays. It’s definitely encouraging. From a team-wide perspective right now, we let him down. It was his first game, and I feel like I let him down. I’m sure all the coaches feel like we let everyone down. We’ve just got to be better.” - Jerod Mayo after his team’s loss against the Texans in their last game.

“We have to figure out how to just get out of our way and just play football. I say that, and it sounds easy, but it’s tough. It’s a tough game to play. We didn’t expect to be here in this spot, and, hey, now we have to find a way to get out of it.” - Doug Pederson after his team’s loss against the Bears in their last game.
