Missouri vs Mississippi State Prediction

The current betting odds have Missouri listed as a 7.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Missouri has looked good in their games this season with their 7-3 record overall, but their 3-3 conference record has them lower in the SEC and out of the playoff race with 3 losses. They haven't looked good in their road games either with their 1-3 road record, but they did look a lot better in their loss last week as they lost 34-30 to South Carolina on the road and put up 30 points on that defense that has looked really good lately. Meanwhile, Mississippi State has looked terrible in their games this season with their 2-8 record overall and their 0-6 conference record which has them at the bottom of the SEC with the worst record in the conference. They have struggled a lot against SEC opponents this year, but they have also struggled in their non-conference games too. They haven't looked any better in their home games with their 2-4 home record and they are coming off another bad loss in their last one, losing 33-14 to Tennessee. Their defense has been giving up a ton of points and this Missouri team definitely has an offense that can put up a ton of points as they do have a lot of talent in their offense and looked great last week against a much better South Carolina defense. Mizzou will be looking to finish the season strong and after going through a rough stretch lately, this will be a nice get right game for them. The best way to place a bet here is on Missouri to cover the spread in this game.
