Dolphins vs Jets Prediction

The current betting odds have the Dolphins listed as a 1 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Dolphins have looked good in their games this season with their 8-8 record overall which has them in 2nd place of the AFC East and fighting for the last Wild Card spot. They have had a really up and down year with a lot of injuries to key players, but here they are in week 18 with a chance to make the playoffs still. They do need a loss from the Broncos to get in, but all they can do is control their own path so they are going to be motivated to beat the Jets here. Meanwhile, the Jets have looked terrible in their games this season with their 4-12 record overall which has them in 3rd place of the AFC East with one of the worst records in the NFL. They are coming off a terrible 40-14 loss to the Bills last week and they have looked bad as a team lately. Their offense has no rhythm as the Aaron Rodgers experiment has turned out to be a huge failure, and the defense has only gotten worse since Robert Saleh was fired. The Jets can only play spoiler in this game, but their season has been over for a while now and they have no cohesion as a team either. The Dolphins haven't looked great at times, but they are still fighting for something in this game and they are going to bring their best effort to win it and keep their hopes alive. They are going to have some momentum too with a 20-3 win over the Browns last week with Tyler Huntley as their QB. The best way to place a bet here is on the Dolphins to cover the spread in this game.

Dolphins Jets Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, January 5, 2025 (4:25 pm ET start time) is Dolphins 24 Jets 13.
