They lost the Commander-in-Chief trophy to Navy, but they still had a really good season with their conference championship so they will be looking to bounce back here and end the season on a good note. Meanwhile, Louisiana Tech hasn't looked good in their games this season with their 5-7 record overall and their 4-4 conference record which has them right in the middle of the C-USA. They weren't even bowl eligible with their record so they don't really deserve to be in this game, but the Sun Belt Champions Marshall opted out so LA Tech gets to take their place.
