Rams vs Patriots Prediction

The current betting odds have the Rams listed as a 4.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Rams haven't looked great in their games this season with their 4-5 record overall which has them in 3rd place of the NFC West, but that record still has them right in this division race. They are coming off a loss against the Dolphins in their last one, but they have looked a lot better in their games lately before losing that one and they will be looking to bounce back here against one of the worst teams in the NFL. Meanwhile, the Patriots have looked terrible in their games this season with their 3-7 record overall which has them at the bottom of the AFC East and pretty much out of the playoff race. They have also looked worse in their home games this season with their 1-3 home record. They are going to have a bit of momentum here since they are coming off a nice road win over the Bears in their last one, but they won't be facing a team with offensive problems like the Bears have. The Rams have looked a lot better on offense the last few weeks with the team getting healthier now and even their defense has looked better too. The Patriots won't be able to stay in this game with their offense, especially if they fall behind early, and the Rams will be focused on getting back to .500 so they can keep themselves in this NFC West race. The Rams still have hopes to make the playoffs this season, but these are the games they can't be losing. The best way to place a bet here is on the Rams to cover the spread in this game.

Rams Patriots Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, November 17, 2024 (1:00 pm ET start time) is Rams 30 Patriots 17.

Notable Quotes

“Defensively, I was pleased with the way we played. Ultimately we weren’t able to capitalize on offense. There wasn’t any semblance of complementary football. ... There have been instances where we haven’t been consistent enough. Sloppy? Yeah. We have to be able to play better and be more consistent.” - Sean McVay after his team’s loss against the Dolphins in their last game.

“It's kind of a good taste of what it looked like for me in training camp. They get after you.” - Drake Maye after their win against the Bears in their last game.
