Georgia vs Texas Prediction

The current betting odds have Georgia listed as a 2.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Georgia has looked really good in their games this season with their 10-2 record overall and their 6-2 conference record which has them right near the top of the SEC. They had to fight to get back to this SEC Championship game, but their win over Tennessee really helped them get over the line. They are coming off a tight win over GA Tech in their last one, but Georgia has plenty of experience in these big games with Kirby Smart and they aren't going to roll over in this game. Meanwhile, Texas has looked great in their games this season with their 11-1 record overall and their 7-1 conference record which has them right at the top of the SEC. Texas has the best overall record and the best conference record in the SEC this season and this is only their first year in the conference, but that 1 loss this season was at home against this very same Georgia team. They are coming off a nice road win over Texas A&M in their last one, sealing their spot in this SEC Championship with that 17-7 win, but they really haven't had a tough schedule this season with a lot of their games being against weaker SEC teams. Georgia is the more battle tested team for this game and they already have a win in Texas against this team earlier this season so that will play a part in the mental game for both of these teams. The best way to place a bet here is on Georgia to cover the spread in this game.

Georgia Texas Prediction:  Our NCAAF Pick for Saturday, December 7, 2024 (4:00 pm ET start time) is Georgia 34 Texas 31.
