Meanwhile, the Seahawks finished last season with a 9-8 record overall and failed to make the playoffs too, now they are entering a new era with Pete Carroll no longer coaching the team. Mike Macdonald will be looking to improve this team from last season, but a lot of that starts with Geno Smith who took a big step back last season. Seattle is a really tough place to play and they still have lots of weapons to do some damage, but Bo Nix played last season in that part of the country and he is used to loud stadiums. The Seahawks didn't have a great defense last season either and they usually struggle on defense in the first half of the season. The Broncos are going to have their opportunities to score here, but neither team is going to go off offensively which leaves the cover possible for this Broncos team as they can make it a close and competitive game. The best way to place a bet here is on the Broncos to cover the spread in this game.
