Panthers vs Eagles Prediction

The current betting odds have the Eagles listed as a 12 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Eagles have looked really good in their games this season with their 10-2 record overall which has them leading the NFC East with one of the best records in the entire NFL. They are coming off a big road win over the Ravens in their last one and the Eagles have to be thinking they can challenge the Lions for the 1st seed in the NFC. Meanwhile, the Panthers have looked terrible in their games this season with their 3-9 record overall which has them right at the bottom of the NFC South and pretty much out of the playoff race. As bad as they have been this season, they have looked a lot better in their games lately with Bryce Young looking a lot better on the field and the team fighting hard in these close losses. The Panthers are ripe to play some spoiler this season with the way they have improved lately, but they also haven't really seen a defense like the Eagles and this will be the game where their record shows once again. The Panthers will be a tough team to play down the stretch, but the Eagles have been rolling themselves lately and this is a game that they are going to wear down this Panthers defense in and eventually pull away. The best way to place a bet here is on the Eagles to cover the spread in this game.

Panthers Eagles Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, December 8, 2024 (1:00 pm ET start time) is Eagles 35 Panthers 14.

Notable Quotes

“We have to put together a full complement of quarters, a full four quarters to become the team that we want to become.” - Dave Canales after his team’s loss against the Bucs in their last game.

“They had to match ours. That was our message going in — that they got to match our physicality. Again, that's a very physical team, that's a well-coached team, that's a team with a lot of good players. But yeah, I'd like that question rephrased a little bit.” - Nick Sirianni after his team’s win against the Ravens in their last game.
