Panthers vs Raiders Prediction

The current betting odds have the Raiders listed as a 5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Raiders have a 1-1 record overall this season and they looked a lot better in their game last week. They lost their season opener to the Chargers, but they bounced back with an impressive road win over the Ravens in their last one. They were even trailing in that game but pulled off the comeback win, and now they are going to bring that momentum with them for their home opener. Meanwhile, the Panthers have looked terrible in their games this season with their 0-2 record overall. They were the worst team in the NFL last season and they have picked up right where they left off. Bryce Young is already being benched by their new head coach after 2 games, so Andy Dalton will be starting in this one. Dalton will definitely run the offense better since he is an experienced starting QB in the NFL, but the Panthers have a lot more problems on their roster than bad QB play. They still have a terrible offensive line that won't protect Dalton from this Raiders pass rush so the offense isn't going to improve a ton from their last game. The Raiders have been a scrappy team in their first 2 games and they are going to be bringing that momentum from their upset win in Baltimore, they will be able to beat up on one of the worst teams in the NFL in their home opener here. The best way to place a bet here is on the Raiders to cover the spread in this game.

Panthers Raiders Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, September 22, 2024 (4:05 pm ET start time) is Raiders 21 Panthers 13.
