Bowling Green vs Texas A&M Prediction

The current betting odds have Bowling Green listed as a 22.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Bowling Green State has looked really good in their games this season with their 1-1 record overall. They won their season opener convincingly against Fordham and they are coming off a loss in their last one, but that loss was on the road against a ranked Penn State team. They only lost that game on the road 34-27 and were even leading the game for a lot of it. They have been building this program up under Loeffler and their last game wasn't the first time that they have caused problems for a bigger school. They are also coming off their bye week so they have had some extra time to prepare for this game which will help. Meanwhile, Texas A&M has looked good in their games this season with their 2-1 record overall. They lost their season opener at home to Notre Dame in a close game and bounced back after that with a big 51-10 win over McNeese State. Now they are coming off a road win against Florida 33-20 in their 1st conference game of the season, but they didn't really blow Florida out in that game and Florida hasn't been a great team this season. Texas A&M already has a home loss this season as they are still figuring things out in Mike Elko's 1st year as head coach, and Bowling Green just went into Penn State which is a really difficult place to play, causing a lot of problems for the Nittany Lions too. Texas A&M just played a conference game last week and they have another next week so this is a game where they could be overlooking Bowling Green while Bowling Green will be gunning for them to get a huge win over a team from the SEC. Bowling Green likely won't pull off the upset here, but they will make this a close enough game to give Texas A&M a scare here. The best way to place a bet here is on Bowling Green to cover the spread in this game.
