Boise State vs UNLV Prediction

The current betting odds have Boise State listed as a 3 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Boise State has looked really good in their games this season with their 5-1 record overall and their 2-0 conference record which has them right near the top of the Mountain West. Their only loss this season was a road game against Oregon who is still undefeated in the Big Ten this season and just knocked down Ohio State in one of their games. They only lost that game by 3 points too and Boise State has the best running back in the country right now, making a case for the Heisman too. Meanwhile, UNLV has looked really good in their games this season with their 6-1 record overall and their 2-0 conference record which also has them at the top of the Mountain West. They have looked good in their games after dealing with some QB drama a few weeks ago, but their only loss this season did come at home against Syracuse. Ashton Jeanty has been one of the stories of the year and it is going to be really difficult for this UNLV defense to slow him down here. UNLV also played last week while Boise State is coming out of their bye week due to their last game being in Hawaii so they are going to have extra time to prepare for this game while UNLV is on a shorter week. This is a really big game that could decide who sits atop the MWC for the rest of the season and Boise State will use this game to make a statement with their Heisman level running back. The best way to place a bet here is on Boise State to cover the spread in this game.

Boise State UNLV Prediction:  Our NCAAF Pick for Friday, October 25, 2024 (10:30 pm ET start time) is Boise State 38 UNLV 27.

Notable Quotes

“So proud of Ashton Jeanty, he’s an absolute war daddy. He’s the best player in the country. Those were tough yards. They’re the number one ranked defense in our conference for a reason. Those guys flew around, they had a great plan of attack and he just kept battling, kept battling.” - Spencer Danielson after his team’s win against Hawaii in their last game.

“He’s got everything Boise downloaded on our computers that we’ll have on the way home. We’ve already got a breakdown. Our GA’s and QC’s did a great breakdown because we knew it would be a short week.” - Barry Odom after his team’s win against Oregon State in their last game.
