The Thursday sports card features NBA, MLB, and CFL action.

The National Basketball Association continues the playoff season with Game 1 of the NBA Finals. The Boston Celtics host the Dallas Mavericks on ABC at 8:40 p.m. ET. The Celtics are on a seven-game winning streak after completing their four-game sweep against Indiana with a 105-102 victory on the road as a 7.5-point favorite on May 27th. The Mavericks have won six of their last seven games after a 124-103 upset victory at Minnesota as a 4.5-point underdog to finish that series in five games last Friday. Boston is a 6.5-point favorite, with the total set at 214.5 (all odds from DraftKings unless indicated otherwise).

The Thursday card in Major League Baseball has 10 games on its schedule. The Toronto Blue Jays play at home against the Baltimore Orioles at 1:07 p.m. ET. The Blue Jays tap Yusei Kikuchi to take the mound to face an Orioles starting pitcher yet to be named. The Cleveland Guardians are at home against the Kansas City Royals at 1:10 p.m. ET. Tanner Bibee gets the ball to pitch for the Guardians to face Daniel Lynch IV for the Royals. Cleveland is a -155 money-line favorite with an over/under of 7.5. The Seattle Mariners travel to Oakland to play the A’s at 3:37 p.m. ET. The Mariners send out Bryan Woo to go against the A’s J.P. Sears. 

The Los Angeles Dodgers play in Pittsburgh to play the Pirates at 6:40 p.m. ET. Walker Buehler gets the nod for the Dodgers to battle against Bailey Feltner for the Pirates. Los Angeles is a -185 money-line road favorite with a total of 8.5. The Atlanta Braves play in Washington against the Nationals at 6:45 p.m. ET. The Braves turn to Reynaldo Lopez to duel against the Nationals’ Mitchell Parker. Atlanta is a -180 money-line favorite with an over/under of 8.5. 

The New York Yankees host the Minnesota Twins at 7:05 p.m. ET. Marcus Stroman takes the mound for the Yankees to pitch against Pablo Lopez for the Twins. New York is a -155 money-line favorite with a total of 8.5. The Chicago Cubs are in Cincinnati to play the Reds at 7:10 p.m. ET. The Cubs have yet to name the starting pitcher who will face the Reds’ Hunter Greene. The St. Louis Cardinals play at home against the Colorado Rockies at 7:45 p.m. ET. Sonny Gray gets the assignment for the Cardinals to battle Cal Quantrill for the Rockies. St. Louis is a -230 money-line favorite with an over/under of 7.5. 

The Boston Red Sox visit Chicago to play the White Sox at 8:10 p.m. ET. The Red Sox tap Tanner Houck to pitch against the White Sox’s Jake Woodford. Boston is a -230 money-line road favorite with a total of 8.5. The San Diego Padres are home against the Arizona Diamondbacks at 9:40 p.m. ET. Randy Vasquez gets the ball for the Padres to go against Slade Cecconi for the Diamondbacks. San Diego is a -120 money-line favorite at BetOnline with an over/under of 8.

Week 1 in the Canadian Football League begins with one game. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers host the Montreal Alouettes on the CBS Sports Network at 7:30 p.m. ET. This game is a rematch of last November’s Grey Cup, which the Alouettes won by a 28-24 score as a 7-point underdog. The Blue Bombers are an 8-point favorite with a total of 47.
