The Friday card in Major League Baseball has 14 games on its schedule. Two MLB games throw out the first pitch at 6:40 p.m. ET. Minnesota travels to Pittsburgh on Apple TV+, with Joe Ryan getting the ball for the Twins to pitch against Mitch Keller for the Pirates. The Twins are a -122 money-line road favorite, with the total set at 8. Detroit hosts Milwaukee, with the Tigers tapping Reese Olson to face a Brewers starting pitcher yet to be named. 

The Atlanta Braves play in Washington against the Nationals at 6:45 p.m. ET. Chris Sale takes the mound for the Braves to battle against Jake Irvin for the Nationals. Atlanta is a -205 money-line road favorite with an over/under of 8. The Tampa Bay Rays play at home against the Baltimore Orioles at 6:50 p.m. ET. The Rays turn to Aaron Civale to go against the Orioles' Kyle Bradish. 

The New York Yankees are at home against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Apple TV+ at 7:05 p.m. ET. Cody Poteet gets the ball for the Yankees to face Yoshinobu Yamamoto for the Dodgers. Two more MLB games start at 7:10 p.m. ET. Cincinnati hosts Chicago, with the Reds tapping Nick Lodolo to take the hill against the Cubs’ Justin Steele. The Reds are a -115 money-line favorite with a total of 9. Cleveland is in Miami with Logan Allen being sent out by the Guardians to duel against Ryan Weathers for the Marlins. The Guardians are a -125 money-line road favorite with an over/under of 8. 

The San Francisco Giants visit Texas to play the Rangers at 8:05 p.m. ET. The Giants turn to Logan Webb to face the Rangers’ Michael Lorenzen. San Francisco is a -115 money-line road favorite with a total of 8. Two more MLB games begin at 8:10 p.m. ET. Chicago plays at home against Boston, with Garrett Crochet taking the ball for the White Sox to battle against Cooper Criswell for the Red Sox. The White Sox are a -115 money-line favorite with an over/under of 7.5. Seattle plays at Kansas City, with the Mariners tapping Bryce Miller to go against the Royals’ Daniel Lynch IV. The Mariners are a -125 money-line road favorite with a total of 9. The St. Louis Cardinals are at home against the Colorado Rockies at 8:15 p.m. ET. Lance Lynn gets the ball for the Cardinals to duel against Austin Gomber for the Rockies. St. Louis is a -198 money-line favorite with an over/under of 7.5.

The Houston Astros are in Los Angeles to play the Angels at 9:38 p.m. ET. The Astros send out Framber Valdez to pitch against the Angels’ Griffin Canning. Houston is a -180 money-line road favorite with a total of 8.5. Two more games conclude the MLB card at 9:40 p.m. ET. San Diego hosts Arizona, with Michael King taking the mound for the Padres to face Brandon Pfaadt for the Diamondbacks. The Padres are a -122 money-line favorite with an over/under of 7.5. Toronto travels to Oakland with the Blue Jays tapping Chris Bassitt to battle the A’s Hogan Harris. The Blue Jays are a -135 money-line road favorite with a total of 8. 

Week 1 in the Canadian Football League continues with one game. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats play in Calgary against the Stampeders at 9 p.m. ET. The Tiger-Cats won the only meeting between these two teams, 22-15, as a 1-point favorite at home on September 30th. Hamilton is a 1-point road favorite with an over/under of 45.
