Ball State vs Miami Prediction

The current betting odds have Miami listed as a 36.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. Miami has looked really good in their games this season with their 2-0 record overall. They are coming off a 56-9 win against Florida A&M last week, but they won their season opener on the road against Florida and it wasn't even close. Miami looks like a real threat in the ACC this season and with both Florida State and Clemson losing games already, they will be looking to take over this conference this season. Meanwhile, Ball State is 1-0 overall to start their season, but they didn't look great in their only game. They beat Missouri State 42-34, but they were trailing in that game for quite a bit before they started to get going. Their defense was also terrible since they gave up 34 points at home to a team from the FCS. This is only their 2nd game of the season, but it is also their 1st road game and Miami isn't an easy opponent with how good they have looked so far. Ball State doesn't have a ton of talent on their team either so this game is going to be more like last week when Miami played Florida A&M. That Ball State defense isn't keeping this Miami offense off the board here, and the Miami defense will also be a lot harder for Ball State to score on here on the road, especially with the slow start they had last week. The best way to place a bet here is on Miami to cover the spread in this game.

Ball State Miami Prediction:  Our NCAAF Pick for Saturday, September 14, 2024 (3:30 pm ET start time) is Miami 52 Ball State 10.
