Welcome to Thursday's edition of the "Morning Skate," which followed a five-game card that featured three road wins.

Detroit, Vegas and Toronto won on strange ice, while Utah and Colorado held it down in their barns.

We have 10 games on the card tonight, including the second of a two-game mini-series between Eastern Conference contenders New Jersey and Florida. The Devils took the 4-1 decision on Tuesday, despite getting outshot 35-24.

Let's take a look at the main highlights from Wednesday:

Through the first 36 nights of the season:

Tonight's FEATURED GAME (lines courtesy DraftKings):

Philadelphia at Ottawa (-170, 6u, -115)

PREDICTION:
The Philadelphia Flyers have seen their last two games land on seven goals, finishing with 4-3 scores, one a win and the other a loss. Toss in a 10-goal game four games back, which are the highest-scoring games they've seen since late October. In facing an Ottawa team that has the offensive potential it has, I have to wonder if the Sens will engage in a high-scoring game. It's a one-off home game for the Senators after playing in Boston and Toronto in their previous two games, which might be why those games landed on 5 and 3 goals. Three of the last four meetings have gone over the posted number, with the last four meetings averaging 7.5 goals per game. Look for a high-scoring game here, as I one of these teams just may win by a final of 5-4.
