Saints vs Giants Prediction

The current betting odds have the Saints listed as a 4.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Saints haven't looked good in their games this season with their 4-8 record overall which has them in 3rd place of the NFC South. They are coming off a loss to the Rams in their last one and they needed that win, but even with that loss, they are still in playoff contention and must win the rest of their games to have any chance at getting in. Their defense looked good in their loss last week and they aren't going to give up many points in this game either. Meanwhile, the Giants have looked terrible in their games this season with their 2-10 record overall which has them right at the bottom of the NFC East with one of the worst records in the entire NFL. They have already released their starting QB Daniel Jones after a disaster first half of the season and they have officially been eliminated from playoff contention too. They are coming off a loss against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving and they have looked terrible in their home games this season with their 0-6 home record. There is a good chance that Daboll won't have a job with the team next season and they really have nothing left to play for so this is a team that is just going through the motions to finish the regular season. The Saints don't have a good chance to make the playoffs this season, but they are still alive and playing for something in this game so expect them to bring their best effort here and bounce back against a much worse team. The best way to place a bet here is on the Saints to cover the spread in this game.

Saints Giants Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, December 8, 2024 (1:00 pm ET start time) is Saints 24 Giants 10.

Notable Quotes

“We did a lot of things in the game that we set out to do and played the game in a lot of ways that we wanted to, but we didn’t execute in crunch time. We had a chance to win there. We had a guy open in the end zone and we can’t get the ball off. So, unfortunate.” - Darren Rizzi after his team’s loss against the LA Rams in their last game.

“I don’t like the results. Nobody likes the results. But again, I have confidence in the people. Just got to do better.” - Brian Daboll after his team’s loss against the Cowboys in their last game.
