LSU vs Florida Prediction

The current betting odds have LSU listed as a 4.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. LSU has looked good in their games this season with their 6-3 record overall and their 3-2 conference record which has them in the top half of the SEC, but they are coming off a loss in their last one which pretty much sealed their fate for making the playoffs this year. They didn't just lose in their last one either, they were embarrassed at home by Alabama in a 42-13 loss. Their offense looked terrible in that game as they got nothing done, but that hasn't been the case for most of the season as they do have a really good offense and they will be looking to bounce back in this game. Meanwhile, Florida hasn't looked good in their games this season with their 4-5 record overall and their 2-4 conference record which has them in the bottom half of the SEC. They don't have any chance of making the CFP and the only thing left they have to play for is bowl eligibility. They are also coming off a terrible loss in their last one though, losing 49-17 to Texas, and their defense has been a big problem all year with the points they have been giving up in their games. Their offense hasn't looked great either as they have been really inconsistent and as bad as LSU has been on defense this season, they will be able to slow down this Florida offense. Florida doesn't really have the offense to compete with LSU either and LSU will be looking to put up a ton of points after that bad loss last week. The best way to place a bet here is on LSU to cover the spread in this game.
