Rams vs Jets Prediction

The current betting odds have the Rams listed as a 3.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Rams have looked really good in their games this season with their 8-6 record overall which leads the NFC West at the moment. They are currently tied with the Seahawks at the top of the division, but the Rams control their own destiny and have looked a lot better over the last month as they are putting things together now. Meanwhile, the Jets have looked terrible in their games this season with their 4-10 record overall which has them in 3rd place of the AFC East. They have looked a lot better in their last 2 games with their offense putting up more points now and starting to click, but their defense has also looked a lot worse over the last few weeks too. They struggled to beat the Jaguars last week, winning that game 32-25, and their defense gave up 25 points to a terrible Jaguars offense that has looked dead with Mac Jones leading the way this season. The Rams don't have a great defense that is going to keep the Jets off the board here, but their offense will have no issues putting up points on this Jets defense with the talent they have. The Jets struggled to keep up with the Jags last week the way their defense was giving up points and they won't be able to compete with this Rams offense if they do fall behind. The best way to place a bet here is on the Rams to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

“What’s really cool is this team has found a bunch of different ways to be able to win football games. You come off a 44-42 game the other day and then you win 12-6. Our group did what they needed to do to be able to get it done.” - Sean McVay after his team’s win against the 49ers in their last game.

“Historic, magical. To get his 100th TD. I feel honored to have seen it and to have been here for it. It was an amazing moment for those two guys. Obviously, a lot of ball between them and a lot of touchdowns. So, for them to get that was special.” - Jeff Ulbrich after his team’s win against the Jags in their last game.
