Colts vs Jets Prediction

The current betting odds have the Jets listed as a 3 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Jets have looked terrible in their games this season with their 3-7 record overall which has them near the bottom of the AFC East. They are coming off another bad loss in their last one, getting blown out by the Cardinals. They will be looking to bounce back in this one and they have looked a lot better in their home games this season, going 2-2 in those compared to being 1-4 in their road games. Meanwhile, the Colts haven't looked great in their games this season with their 4-6 record overall which has them in 2nd place of the AFC South. They looked really bad in their game last week, getting blown out at home by the Bills, and ever since they announced Flacco as the starter going forward over 2nd year QB Anthony Richardson, Flacco has now looked terrible in their last 2 games. Taking care of the ball has been a big issue for him and that isn't going to help against a Jets defense that is coming off a bad game but really hasn't looked bad this season. The Jets defense will be able to bounce back against this Colts offense and the offense still has the talent to perform well. The Jets have been a disaster all season, but they have looked a lot better in their home games and this is where they will have their best chance to win against another team that has been struggling lately. The best way to place a bet here is on the Jets to cover the spread in this game.

Notable Quotes

“The first one was just an awful decision. The toughest thing about not playing well is just your mentality and having to deal with the fact that you're not playing well and the best way to do that is to go back to work.” - Joe Flacco after their loss against the Bills in their last game.

“They were not prepared to play, we didn't execute even close to our standard. That falls on my shoulders, 100%. I didn't do a good enough job getting these guys ready.” - Jeff Ulbrich after his team’s loss against the Cardinals in their last game.
