Texans vs Vikings Prediction

The current betting odds have the Texans listed as a 2.5 point favorite in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Texans have looked really good in their games this season with their 2-0 record overall. CJ Stroud impressed last season in his rookie year, and he is picking up right where he left off with another solid start. They won a really tough road game in their season opener, beating a division rival, and they are coming off a home win in prime time against the Bears. Meanwhile, the Vikings have also looked great in their games this season with their 2-0 record overall. They beat up on a bad Giants team in their season opener, but they beat the 49ers last week as Sam Darnold looks to be reviving his career in Minnesota. He led the offense well and has the weapons to do some damage, but they are also a bit more banged up for this game. The Texans do have a good defense under DeMeco Ryans though and that game last week was more of an emotional game for Darnold. He was on the 49ers last season and was cut from the team this year so that was a big game for him to show them what they lost out on, and he sure did bring his best effort in that one. He is due to have a let down game here though and the Texans have their own starting QB who has been rolling in this offense since coming into the league last season. The Texans also did a lot to improve this offense in the off-season with more weapons so that will give them the edge in this one. The best way to place a bet here is on the Texans to cover the spread in this game.
