Once again the eyes of the basketball world are firmly back on the Golden State Warriors. Anyone who thought Stephen Curry’s dynasty in the Bay area was over when Kevin Durant left and Klay Thompson went down with a torn ACL two seasons ago wasn’t entirely right. That dynasty may have only taken a break. Two NBA seasons of rebuilding has Golden State about to declare “Game On!”. They still have Steph Curry and Draymond Green… plus the intervening bad seasons led to draft picks and trades that all seem to have worked out. They are again the #1 team in the Western Conference and the #1 team in the league after their first 25 games of this season. The Warriors odds are good against everyone they play, and we all eagerly await the return of Klay Thompson… so they could get even better. The special curiosity of tuning into this game is that Steph is 10 3-pointers away from breaking the all time record of shooting 3-pointers… Though it’s not likely he hits 10 in a single game, it would be nice for him to do it with his brother Seth Curry (who plays for Philly) on the court. If he doesn’t get it Saturday night against the Sixers we will have to tune in Monday night against the Pacers or even Tuesday night against the Knicks, we do think he will have it done before he gets back to the Chase Center.
The 76ers are a murky swamp of bad vibes. They were supposed to be good and definitely considered themselves Championship contenders this season… and there is still plenty of time to right the ship… but it isn’t working out that way after the first 26 games. All-Star Center Joel Embiid has missed a few games to health and safety protocols and is banged up and questionable at the moment with sore ribs. Star player and Max contract Ben Simmons has yet to play a single game as he holds out for a trade… we all anxiously await a team that doesn’t mind that Ben can’t shoot. The result is a team barely held together by SF Tobias Harris and surprising 2nd year player PG Tyrese Maxey. They could turn it all around again if they just take the loss on Ben Simmons and trade him for pennies on the dollar… just to end the nightmare.

Golden State Warriors vs Philadelphia 76ers Preview and Analysis
Recent Form
The Warriors are 21-4 on the season, but 17-7-1 ATS. They logged 7 Overs, 17 Unders, and 1 Push. They are 7-2 on the road. The Warriors had a great November and that is spilling over into December. They are 8-2 over their last ten games. The two losses were to the red hot Phoenix Suns and the ice cold San Antonio Spurs. They are on a two-game win streak and look to extend that against Philly.
The 76ers are 14-12 on the season, but 11-14-1 ATS. They have notched 9 Overs, 15 Unders, and 2 Push. The are a shaky 5-6 in home games. The Sixers are 5-5 over their last ten games. They lost their last game to the Utah Jazz… before that they won back to back games against the Charlotte Hornets on Monday and Wednesday night. Philly needs to get things going or they run the risk of being the negative story on ESPN all year.
Offensive Analysis
The Warriors are 3rd in the NBA in Points with 113.2 per game, 3rd in rebounds with 47.1 per, 10th in AST/TO ratio with 1.8. They are in the midst of yet another great shooting season; 3rd in FG%, 4th in 3PT%... but where they really excel is on the defensive end where they are #1 in the league and only allow 100.3 ppg.
The Sixers are 18th in the league in points with 106.6 per game, 29th in rebounds with 42.2 per game, 9th in AST/TO ratio with 1.8
