Cowboys vs Eagles Prediction

The current betting odds have the Cowboys listed as an 8.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Cowboys haven't looked good in their games this season with their 7-8 record overall which has them in 3rd place of the NFC East and already eliminated from playoff contention, but a lot of that damage was done early in the season. They have looked a lot better in their games lately, coming off another win last week over the Buccaneers, and they have been a better road team this season with their 5-2 road record. Meanwhile, the Eagles have looked really good in their games this season with their 12-3 record overall which leads the NFC East with one of the best records in the entire NFL, but they are in a bad situation coming into this one. They are coming off a loss to the Commanders in their last one and they also lost Jalen Hurts to a concussion in that game. He could be out for this game too and that would be a big issue for this Eagles offense which looked flat with Kenny Pickett in the game. Even with Hurts back in the lineup, the Eagles looked terrible on defense last week and the Cowboys have been putting up points with Cooper Rush lately. The Eagles have also clinched a playoff spot already so they don't need to go all out in this game and that will affect how much they win by. Their offense just didn't look as good with Pickett and the Cowboys can put up points to keep up here. The best way to place a bet here is on the Cowboys to cover the spread in this game.

Cowboys Eagles Prediction:  Our NFL Pick for Sunday, December 29, 2024 (1:00 pm ET start time) is Eagles 27 Cowboys 24.
