Arizona got a much needed day off on Thursday and enter their final series of this 10-game road trip ready to finish strong and return home to face the Dodgers. The bullpen will be fully loaded and ready to handle the back end of the game after Gallen is finished. The fact that Gallen has a great K rate so far this season and the Mariners are struggling in that category gives the edge to Arizona here. Additionally, scoring hasn’t been a problem for the Dbacks who are second in the majors with 5.73 runs per game just behind Atlanta’s 5.96. The roof should be closed in this one which will provide a great environment to score. A key to this game potentially getting out of hand for Seattle is that the Mariners will stretch Hancock further in this game as their bullpen has been used in the Texas series and they did not get a day off like the Dbacks on Thursday. Lay the wood with the Dbacks at -132.
