The New York Mets have won six of the last ten matchups against the Cardinals, and with a struggling Miles Mikolas on the mound, I expect Butto to hold down their offense and allow his defense to help him out as he is a great contact pitcher that doesn't allow opposing hitters to do a lot of damage. A big key in this game is going to be for the Mets offense to give him some run support to improve his confidence, and Butto coming into this game looking for his first win at home is a huge bonus when looking for alternative storylines. Mikolas is coming into this matchup just 1-4 in his last five starts, and the Mets offense is continuing to find ways to win big games. I think the Mets have a golden opportunity to advance their record to 7-6 at home, and now that they are starting to find their groove offensively, I like the Mets.
