Lions vs 49ers Prediction

The current betting odds have the Lions listed as a 6.5 point underdog in this game according to Draftkings Sportsbook. The Lions have looked great in their games this season with their 12-5 record overall which won the NFC North for them for the 1st time in years. They also have a ton of momentum on their side right now as they hadn't won a playoff game in over 30 years and now have 2 playoff wins at home this year. Dan Campbell has turned this team around in a short period of time and even though they have to go on the road for this game, they were still 6-3 in their road games this season. Meanwhile, the 49ers have also looked great in their games this season with their 12-5 record overall which won the NFC West and the number 1 seed in the NFC. They have looked like one of the best teams in the NFL all season with the talent they have and some of the scores they have won their games by, but they have actually been worse at home this season with their 5-3 home record. They also didn't look great in their last game against the Packers as they struggled to win that game at home against the lowest seed in the playoffs on either side, even needing a last-minute game-winning drive just to win. The 49ers still have one of the best teams in the NFL with the talent on that offense along with one of the best defenses in the NFL, but the Lions have been rolling with a lot of momentum right now and they can keep this game close enough if they don't pull of an upset win. The best way to place a bet here is on the Lions to cover the spread in this game.
